3D Walk (preview)
Walk a to-scale MicroHom plan in first person, on your own or in a shared room with your buyer, builder, project manager or inspector.
What it does
The 3D Walk is part of the community planner. Switch the 3D view from Orbit to Walk to move through the plan at eye level. The geometry comes from the plan you drew, so lengths and spacing match the planner.
How to start a walk
- Open the community planner and lay out a plan (or open a saved one).
- Choose the 3D view, then press the Walk toggle.
- Move with W A S D, or use the on-screen arrow pad on a phone or tablet.
Walk together
From the 3D view you can open a shared room and send the invite link. Everyone who opens it walks the same to-scale plan and sees where the others are standing. A pin dropped by one person appears for the rest, and you can follow another person's view.
Rooms use a live connection for positions and pins only. Nothing about the room is written to a database, and nobody needs an account to join.
Preview. This feature is new. The plan's real dimensions remain the source of truth; the 3D view is a visual aid, not measured site geometry or a construction drawing.
