MicroHom
Privacy
What this site stores, who processes it, and how to delete it. Effective October 17, 2026.
MicroHom does not sell personal information. It does not handle payments. It does not collect homeowner names from county layers. This site does not use a third-party analytics cookie. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without a cookie. It does not respond to a Do Not Track header, because it does not track visits with one.
Account
If you ask for an email sign-in link, Supabase stores your email and a session. Supabase is the database and the authentication processor, shared with chrismai.ai. Google Gmail sends that sign-in email. The sign-in metadata can include the name, role, county, and organization you typed. After the link opens, this site saves your display name, role, California county, organization, and whether you opted into the public directory. The directory opt-in is off unless you check it. The public directory shows only that opt-in, and it does not show your email or account id.
What else is stored
- Join requests: email, name, role, county, organization, message, and the page you submitted from. An agency or jurisdiction you type is stored inside that message.
- Chats with the MicroHom assistant are stored by chrismai.ai's chat service. The chat's AI answers come from Anthropic (Claude) through its API. When that's unavailable, it falls back to scripted answers from MicroHom's own help articles. The chat service stores conversation content plus visitor IP address, approximate location and browser info for the operator. It is kept until you ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] to ask for a chat to be deleted. Chats may be reviewed with those tools to answer questions and improve MicroHom. They are not sold or published without your consent. “Talk to a human” reaches Chris.
- Saved parcels: county, APN, a label, and an optional note.
- Saved designs: a title, the county and APN if the plan has them, and the plan JSON.
Plans and searches you do not save stay in this browser. Parcel queries go to county servers, or through this site’s cache in front of those servers. That cache stores the public GIS response, not your account.
How long it is kept
Account data, join requests, saved parcels, saved designs, and chats are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Deletion
The account page has “Delete my account data.” It deletes your profile, saved parcels, and saved designs, then signs you out. Join requests are insert-only from the site, so email [email protected] to ask for those rows, and for the sign-in email in the shared account system, to be removed.
Cloudflare serves the site and provides cookieless page analytics.
