The micro home store. Every home from the tour, plus shelters and gear, in one aisle.

No. Every View button sends you to the maker’s own site, and checkout, payment and delivery all happen there. We never take payment.

SHIFTPOD and HELE prices and stock are read from each maker’s public store and refreshed about every 30 minutes. Home prices appear only when Kerry states one in the video; otherwise the tile says “See price at builder.” For Sale Now prices are copied from each seller’s inventory page, with the date we checked. Cabin kits, ADUs and canvas tents come from each maker’s own public product feed (Studio Shed, Cedarshed, DEN Outdoors, Log Home Mart, EZ Log Structures, Stout Tent, White Duck Outdoors, Life inTents and Rainier Outdoor) at the price the store shows, rechecked every 6 hours; when a store lists no price we say “See price at seller.”

Each one was listed as available or in stock on the seller’s own site when we checked, and the list refreshes every few hours. Homes sell fast, so confirm with the seller before you plan around one. Today the list comes from TinyHomeBuilders.com marketplace, Dragon Tiny Homes, Mint Tiny Homes, Tumbleweed Tiny House Company, ESCAPE, Jamaica Cottage Shop and Backcountry Containers.

It depends on the type. Ready-built homes and cabins for sale here start around $312, cabin kits and ADUs range from a few thousand dollars for a small kit to six figures for a finished ADU, and canvas tents and tipis run from a few hundred to a few thousand. Every price is the maker’s own, copied from their store or inventory page with the date we checked.

Yes — that’s the whole point. MicroHom is an independent marketplace, not a dealer. Every listing links straight to the builder’s own site, where you deal with the maker directly for price, contract, delivery and warranty. MicroHom never takes payment or handles the sale.

An ADU (accessory dwelling unit) is a small, permanent or movable home placed on the same lot as an existing house. Rules vary by city, county and state, so check your local zoning office before buying. We list ADUs and cabin kits from makers’ stores but don’t give legal advice; your planning department is the source of truth. Not sure what fits your lot? Check the free lot planner.

Listings refresh automatically from each seller’s own feed every 6 hours, and the For Sale Now list is rechecked every few hours, dropping anything no longer listed. Each tile shows the date we checked, and the footer shows when store data was last verified. Still confirm with the seller before planning around a home.

No. Listing on MicroHom is free for sellers: paste a store link or CSV at /sell/ and your inventory imports automatically. Buyers pay the maker’s own price on the maker’s own site. MicroHom takes no fees, no commission and no payment today.

Our free lot planner lets you draw your lot, add setbacks, and check any listing’s maker-stated exterior dimensions against it, including required setup space for tents and tipis. It works for every listing that has stated dimensions.

No. MicroHom is an independent community and civic venture. Kerry hasn’t reviewed or endorsed it. We link to his videos so you can watch each tour.

SHIFTPOD shelters are camping shelters, not permitted housing. Check your city or county before staying on a lot, and look into a temporary-home permit under AB 818 in California.

MicroHom lists homes from Kerry Tarnow’s tours, units sellers publish as for sale on their own sites, and items from makers’ public store feeds. Sellers can add their own inventory at Sell on MicroHom. If a fact is wrong, the video and the maker are the source of truth. All the data is open at /data/catalog.json.
